Just goes to show what a bit of alcohol can do. Then Sharon had the opportunity to take the book she had come to get in the first place but then she left it. A clear sign that she wants Sam to finish reading the book and see that the barman gets dumped in the end. This would mean that Sam would assume that Palesa gave him the book so that he realises that it is over between the two. Palesa’s loss is Sharon’s gain, well that is the plan anyway.
