I guess we have been waiting for a very long time to find out what the story is behind Khethiwe’s pregnancy on Our Soapie. Some of us had thought that they would factor it into the current story line and say that Khethiwe is pregnant with Dumisani’s child whilst some even thought that they could say it’s Khaphela’s child. We have waited and waited but I think it is time for us to give up now! We just have to accept that Mfundi Vundla is not going to factor in Khethiwe’s real life pregnancy onto the show. Which is sad in a way as all of us who watch the Soapie can clearly see that she is pregnant and even though they are trying to hide it, it is just not working anymore.
If they did not want to include Khethiwe’s pregnancy in the script then maybe they should have sent her on leave when she really started to show that she was pregnant. They simply could have said she has gone to KZN to be with her family whilst she heels from her scars. I wonder what they are going to do now when she is on maternity leave? Maybe that is when they will say she is having her plastic surgery and she will be away recovering from the surgery and then hopefully she will come back onto Our Soapie after her maternity leave without a big stomach and without her bandages!

Well, I am disappointed as well with how Mfundi has dealt with Khethiwe’s pregnancy by doing absolutely nothing and acting like it not there. I mean, everone can see it and there is no doubt that is is almost due…I guess we have not control over all this and just have to sit back and watch. Maybe Mfundi has a surprise plot.

I gave up on that pregnancy a long time ago. I think that’s what they’ll say when she goes for maternity leave. And hopefully she leaves those bandages behind.

Or maybe He is going factor Khethiwe’s pregnancy, like she finds out and couldn’t wait 2 tel Dumie the gud news so she goes 2 his office then she walks into the office there’s Dumie flirting with that Model again she gets a shock of a lifetime went running 2 Queen and she miscarries the baby. After that she goes out of the hospital straight to KZN to heal her hearthache.

Ndina & Betty – how about she just storms out on a fight with Dumi and she disappears for a looooong time leaving that jerk Dumi frantic with worry for 3 months – maybe he will go mad and be locked in an asylum so that we dont have to see his face on our nice soapie * aaah – sigh* wishful thinking.
more practically maybe she will go to ugogo’s at KZN to recover from the surgery or on a college trip. but go she must and soon!

ah Babyt, she wants to start a family ka she wed about 2 years ago – i suppose i see where she is coming from. Remember they scripten in Karabo’s pregnancy that time when she slept with Sibusiso and when she lost the baby in real life – they had to script in that too. Imagine Kethiwe’s baby dies in real life and yet she has to carry on like she has a child on the soap. it would break any person so i dont think its such a terrible idea. But as far as the soap goes – it made Generations lose a bit of credibility. they should just send her off no.

and about babies on the soap, i think its a practical difficulty to constantly have babies/children on set. so Kudos to the gens crew for actually having Chrissie and Princie on the soap – regardless of how infrequent that is.
