What should Khaphela do with the money from Palesa?

Now that Palesa is behind bars she has left some money for Khaphela. Money she says was her salary and not the ‘dirty money’ she made with her father. Palesa has ask Khaphela to use this money to buy back the shelter. But Khaphela is not sure what to do as he can not be sure that the money Palesa has left him is clean. What do you think Khaphela should do with the money? I think he should just use it and get the shelter back so the homeless people can have a place to stay. But then again, what if Palesa is lying about where the money came from and then Khaphela also ends up in jail for accepting and using ‘dirty’ money.

Thabo l think Khaphela should use the money to help the shelter people.I doubt if Palesa would lie to Khaphela now, she doesnt want to lie anymore and Khaphela must act quickly before the hard earned money is used by the “state” as she sid it.The gal has just given herself up and at least she has a heart for the homeless.

  3. I don’t think it’s right for Khaphela to accept money from Palesa because he might end up in trouble and I also think that he needs to share this with other people for best advise.

Ok maybe Mfundi shud change his character a bit, make him do something really bad, he cannot always be a good wise guy…as people we do change once in a while,and do things we never thought we wud do… then they will revert the old madala back to his old boring style….Maqz,i just want him out of there,Mozambique just sprung on my mind as a place he cud be ‘sent’ to.

  31. Olivia, it is tru. I also saw her in the Drum mag I think with her two kids. I still have to buy the mag today so that I can read the story.

    I’m really very happy for her. And I think she will just come back after she concieve. I think.

  45. I think Khapela should do as Palesa says, I trust her bcoz she wasn’t a criminal even in the first place but her father was doing all he can to manipulate the girl, Palesa is not a bad person at all. She can’t do such a thing ti Khaphela, and she’s very concerned about the homeless people.

Mr Ndu confessed yesterday and l felt so so sorry for Palesa when she was crying and l could see from Phokane’s eyes that she was also feeling pity for her,,,,,so now the question is what are they gonna do with Palesa,,,will they give her a lighter sentence,,,,now Mr Ndu realises that he did the wrong thing to her daughter.
