Category : Recap, Sibusiso
After all Dlomo has been through over the last couple of months, it was only a matter of time before he caved in and hit the bottle again! I can not remember the last time I saw Sibusiso drink, it must have been years ago, but last night he ‘hit the bottle’ after Ntombi and Senzo decided to go ahead with the unveiling of Busi’s tombstone.
I think was tipped Dlomo over the edge was the visit Kenneth made to his office and he just went on and on about Senzo being gay! Dlomo had said he is not going to go to the ceremony but then he pitched up, drunk like a skunk and he started to make a scene. He verbally abused Senzo and everyone else who was there and then he totally disrespected Busi by start to destroy everything that was around her grave. I was surprised that no one held Dlomo back. I wonder how this is now going to affect his relationship with Ntombi as Sibusiso had said to Ntombi before she left for the ceremony that if she walks out the house to go to the ceremony she should never come back. More drama awaits us on Our Soapie!
One thing though whilst all of this is going on: Generations is meant to be the top soapie in South Africa but I must say that I was disappointed last night with the setting of the scene of the ceremony. It was clear to see that this scene was shot in a studio with some artificial trees! Honestly, could they not shoot this scene outside in the real world and give it a bit more of a feel? The set designers and directors need to work on this. I thought they had learnt their lesson after shooting airport scenes in a very (excuse my language) crap setting! Come on Generations let’s do some work on this please.

As if Sibusiso did not have enough on his plate right now, the unveiling of Busi’s tombstone is still going ahead. At the beginning of last nights show, Dlomo was sitting on his bed and then Ntombi came into the room and was about to tell him that the ceremony is still going ahead but Dlomo was too emotional at that stage and Ntombi that he is glad he still has her and Christina when everything else around him is falling apart. I guess after this, Ntombi did not have the heart to tell him that the ceremony he wants cancelled is still going ahead.
But now Khaphela has told Dlomo that the ceremony is still going ahead and you could just see the anger in Dlomo’s face when he heard this. What a day it was for Dlomo yesterday! He is trying to get Senzo fired from his job at the station. I think this is really petty from Sibusiso, he is behaving like a child now! And then he is not talking to Jason anymore even if they are meant to be working together. Yet again, very childish from Dlomo, try be professional man!
And then Ajax tried to talk to Sibusiso about Senzo and in the beginning I thought that Dlomo was actually paying attention to what Ajax was saying but in the end Dlomo lost his mind and through Ajax out of his office! Dlomo needs some serious help!
And what about the Paul and Dineo drama! Paul went to visit Dineo last night and they have a passionate kiss but then Dineo pulled away and said that this can never happen again. I think Paul should just dump Karabo now and go for Dineo. Karabo has kind of accepted that she may loose Paul after she had gone AWOL for a while. Paul has a perfect excuse to dump Karabo if he wants to.

Happy Friday everyone. There seems to be a lot going on on Our Soapie at this moment in time. The highlight is obviously what is going on between Sibusiso, Senzo and Jason. Senzo went to see Sibusiso yesterday and the way the were shouting and insulting each other, you would never think they are father and son! Senzo tried to reach out to his dad but he was having none of it and thus Senzo has decided to back Jason when he takes the issue of being fired to court.
Meanwhile, Sibusiso has decided to cancel the unveiling of Busi’s tombstone all because of this situation with Senzo. I personally think it is very unfair on Busi’s part and as Ntombi said, Busi would never have judged Senzo being gay.

On the other side of town we have Khaphela and Sarah. Sarah has decided it is time she introduces Khaphela to her family. And straight after that, Khaphela decides that it’s time to start the lobola negotiations with Sarah’s family! Slow down Khaps! In the space of a year (or less) he was ready to marry Khethiwe, then he was on the verge of marrying Cleo and now he wants to marry Sarah. Khaphela seems to think marriage is an easy thing. But then on the other hand, he is not getting any younger and he needs to get married soon. I hope things work out with him and Sarah but I have a funny feeling something is going to go wrong.. This is Generations after all!

Then there is Dumisani and Khethiwe. I am firmly on Rathabile’s side and I believe that Khethiwe should stay as far away as possible from Dumisani. So Dumisani decided to give Khethiwe a ring last night as a sign of him promising to her that he will never hit or abuse her ever again and in return Khethiwe has to promise never to take the ring off. I do not buy this sneaky tactic Dumisani is trying to play.. we all know he is not going to stick to his promise. Khethiwe should bite the other cheek!
Finally, Paul and Dineo. Did you see that kiss Dineo planted on Paul’s cheek right in front of Karabo? Luckily Karabo did not see it as she was probably asleep. You could see that Paul was shocked that Dineo gave him a kiss when Karabo was there. Paul clearly wants Dineo but how is he going to dump Karabo now?

And whilst all of this is unfolding, Kenneth is quietly waiting in the wings. He has not been up to much lately but we know it’s only a matter of time and with all the drama unfolding he is going to have fun! Can you imagine how he will react when he finds out that Senzo is gay? he will not let Sibusiso hear the end of it. And how will he react when he finds out about Paul and Dineo?
Happy blogging and polling today and have a great weekend!

The drama continues on Our Soapie. Sibusiso went to the radio station to see Dave for a meeting and he bumped into Senzo and he just looked at him like he does not exist. Dlomo then went over to New Horizons and he saw Jason at the reception and he told him to leave the building as he was fired. This all happened in front of Queen, Dineo and Dumisani.
Dumisani was not impressed that Jason is being fired. But Dlomo stuck to his guns and told Jaso to pack his stuff and leave. Now why was Jason fired? He has done nothing wrong at work and he is being fired for being gay. This to me is a no brainer when Jason takes this issue up with the courts. I may not be a lawyer but I firmly believe that Jason will win this case as you can not fire someone for being gay.
Dlomo is just in pain as his one and only son turns out to be gay. And now Jabulani also knows that Senzo is gay after Dlomo told him. Jabulani was in shock but I wonder how he will take it. How will he react to Senzo now? So I am guessing that the unveiling of Busi’s tombstone is not going to take place now after all this drama and definitely Senzo is not getting his name changed to Dlomo anytime soon.
The way this story is shaping out on Generations is going to play an important part to how society as a whole reacts to gay people. Millions of people watch Generations every night across South Africa and our children or family members being gay is part of the society we live in today. How then do we react to gay people? Some people have come to accept it whilst some (such as Sibusiso) have failed to.
The writers of Generations have a great platform now to show us what their take is and possibly influence a lot of peoples opinions and views about being gay. Let us wait and see how the writers deal with this.

Many of you have said that last night episode of Generations was the best you have seen in a while! I have to admit that after the boring episodes we have seen over the last couple of weeks, last nights was not bad at all. We were all waiting to see what Sibusiso was going to do after he had seen Senzo and Jason in bed together getting it on.
Sibusiso just walked out of the room fuming and went to get his shambok! Senzo, Jason and Ntombi tried to reason with Dlomo but he was having none of it and he hit Senzo with the Shambok then Jason tried to be the hero and he tried to hold Sibusiso back but instead Sibusiso beat the living daylights out of Jason. Jason had to be taken to hospital after suffering from concussion.
Ntombi went over to visit Jason and Senzo in hospital and he told them that she would be by their side. That really meant a lot to Senzo. But I guess all he really wants is to get his dad back and for his dad to accept him. But I don’t see that happening anytime soon. Senzo went over to the house to try talk to his ‘dad’ but Dlomo was having none of it and he virtually shouted and disowned Senzo and said that he will never be his son again.
Sibusiso is hurting big time and so to is Senzo. Ntombi is trying to be supportive as it is very hard for her to pick sides. I wonder how all of this is going to end.. any thoughts?

Morning bloggers,
I haven,t watched Generations for the past few weeks, so last night I was lucky to catch the last part of my favourite soapie.
Ruby apparently won a game of poker on behalf of Jabulani and nearly got a kiss for it, but what I thought would have been the highlight of the show was when Khethiwe bit Dumisani’s cheek, but that was not it because what Sbuda saw in the bedroom was ,,,,,,,,was,,,,,,,SHOCKING. The poor guy watlzed in Senzo’s bedroom only to find him naked with Jason on top of him kissing nog al and all he could say was “What the hell!”
NB: POWA is an organization that fights for women against abuse so lets take care of our women out there.
Happy blogging everybody.

Good morning bloggers. As the title of my post today suggests, there was a whole lot of nothing on Our Soapie last night. The episode did not have much drama and just seemed to ramble on a bit. For me the only highlight would have been when Dineo went to visit Paul and Karabo and Paul told her that she can not see Karabo yet coz she is not feeling well. Paul has guilt written all over his face and for a moment I thought Paul and Dineo were going to kiss in the lounge when they were talking. So from the look of things, the ‘fire’ between Paul and Dineo continues to burn, we just have to wait and see how it pans out.
Then on the other side, Khethiwe told Dumisani that she is going for self defense classes. Dumisani was shocked at this and I guess he can sense now that Khethiwe is getting sick and tired of his shit. And then to add onto that, Khethiwe told Dumisani that she is going to KZN for the long weekend whether he likes it or not. She said you can tell me to stop seeing Ace but you can’t keep me away from my family. Way to go Khethi, it’s about time you stood up to this scum!
And now I am wondering what plan Ajax has to help Jabulani get out of his mess with the loan shark. If I were Ajax I would just stay out of this and let JB sort out his own mess,
Happy blogging everyone and have a fantastic Friday and enjoy the long weekend.
