Loading ...Good morning bloggers. I hope you enjoyed last nights episode of Our Soapie as much as I did. Paul, Paul, Paul! When I grow up I do not want to be like Paul! The man is caught between a rock and a hard place!
Firstly, Karabo saw the invoice for the roses he had ordered for Dineo but Paul (being a typical male) thought quickly on his feet when he was caught in a compromising position and told Karabo that he had ordered the flowers for her. Paul then sent some roses to Karabo to make up for it. At least Paul was able to get out of this one. But imagine he had done something worse like sending an SMS to Karabo saying “I love you Dineo” when the SMS was meant for Dineo. Have you done that before, sent an SMS to the wrong person and it had serious repercussions?
Then Paul has a chat with Dineo and Dineo demands Paul to go home and end it with Karabo. Was Dineo right in giving Paul this ultimatum? I some how can not see Dineo and Kenneth getting back together and thus the reason Dineo is trying by all means to get Paul to be her new lover. But now that a wedding is in place between Paul and Karabo, it is going to be tricky. The way I see it, on the wedding day when the priest says, “Does anyone here think that these two should not get married?” Dineo is going to stand up and say, “Me! I Love you Paul!” and then Paul is going to look at Karabo and tell her, “I’m sorry Karabo, I can not do this!” And then Paul will run to Dineo and kiss her infront of everyone!

Why is it some women, especially the ones that most men would like to date, at least on paper, are finding it difficult to have meaningful relationships?
I asked a married lady friend how she did it, and why other ladies are struggling to get there; she said that you cannot have two men in a relationship.
This made me think of a male friend of mine, who was saddened when he went over to his girlfriend’s apartment to find a LCD TV on the wall and new mags on her car. He didn’t mind her buying it, but he wanted to be the one to help install that TV on the wall.
He felt that she was living as if he’s not in her life.
I guess it’s similar to the feeling she would have if her man bought curtains for his house without her knowledge.
‘SHOW ME THE LOVE’
Okay, so I’m no relationship expert, but here is my two cents worth of advice:
• Real men do not live in the TV;
• We don’t like eating out every day;
• Please cook for us;
• I do not like pointed shoes;
• I like my track shoes a bit dirty;
• We’d love you to polish our ego every now and then;
• Respect us and we’ll love you.
• We know you’re smarter, don’t try to make a fool of me in public;
• We know you have money, but don’t control us.
• Your single friends may not give good advice on relationships;
• Don’t compete with our sports, you’ll never win.
• I don’t like it when you gallivant the whole of J-section on Girls’ Night Out, we all know what happens at those things.
‘IT’S NOT THAT DIFFICULT’
Women use all fingers and toes to list the description and personality of a man they want. Generally, men will name less than 5 things.
Here’s mine: I want a woman who will love me, take care of me, nourish my ego, has potential to raise our kids well and who will let me be ‘the man’, or at least, ‘her man’.
And here’s a last tip for single ladies: If you meet a brother with a good career, who respects his sisters and loves his parents, hold onto him.
But if the man is over 35 years old and still single, then prepare for drama – or he’s a player.

They have gained the opportunity to read any book on any subject through the efforts of their fight for freedom, yet they refuse to read. There are numerous books readily available at Borders, Barnes & Noble, andAmazon.com, not to mention their own Black Bookstores that provide solid blueprints to reach economic equality (which should have been their fight all along), but few read consistently, if at all.
GREED is another powerful weapon of containment. Blacks, since the abolition of slavery, have had large amounts of money at their disposal. Last year they spent 10 billion dollars during Christmas, out of their 450 billion dollars in total yearly income (2.22%).
Any of us can use them as our target market, for any business venture we care to dream up, no matter how outlandish, they will buy into it. Being primarily a consumer people, they function totally by greed. They continually want more, with little thought for saving or investing.
They would rather buy some new sneaker than invest in starting a business. Some even neglect their children to have the latest Tommy or FUBU, And they still think that having a Mercedes, and a big house gives them “Status” or that they have achieved their Dream.
They are fools! The vast majority of their people are still in poverty because their greed holds them back from collectively making better communities.
With the help of BET, and the rest of their black media that often broadcasts destructive images into their own homes, we will continue to see huge profits like those of Tommy and Nike. (Tommy Hilfiger has even jeered them, saying he doesn’t want their money, and look at how the fools spend more with him than ever before!). They’ll continue to show off to each other while we build solid communities with the profits from our businesses that we market to them.
SELFISHNESS, ingrained in their minds through slavery, is one of the major ways we can continue to contain them.One of their own, Dubois said that there was an innate division in their culture. A “Talented Tenth” he called it. He was correct in his deduction that there are segments of their culture that has achieved some “form” of success. However, that segment missed the fullness of his work. They didn’t read that the “Talented Tenth” was then responsible to aid The Non-Talented Ninety Percent in achieving a better life. Instead, that segment has created another class, a Buppie class that looks down on their people or aids them in a condescending manner. They will never achieve what we have. Their selfishness does not allow them to be able to work together on any project or endeavor of substance. When they do get together, their selfishness lets their egos get in the way of their goal Their so-called help organizations seem to only want to promote their name without making any real change in their community.
They are content to sit in conferences and conventions in our hotels, and talk about what they will do, while they award plaques to the best speakers, not to the best doers. Is there no end to their selfishness? They steadfastly refuse to see that TOGETHER EACH ACHIEVES MORE (TEAM). They do not understand that they are no better than each other because of what they own, as a matter of fact, most of those Buppies are but one or two pay checks away from poverty. All of which is under the control of our pens in our offices and our rooms.
Yes, we will continue to contain them as long as they refuse to read, continue to buy anything they want, and keep thinking they are “helping” their communities by paying dues to organizations which do little other than hold lavish conventions in our hotels. By the way, don’t worry about any of them reading this letter, remember, ‘THEY DON’T READ!!!!
