We have received this email from a Generations fan this morning:

Hi. My family and I are avid generations viewers. However it becomes increasingly annoying when it gets to the end of the episode (where the story line is ever so important) and the electricity alertness srtip comes on at the bottom of the screen, blocking off the subtitles. We are not IsiZulu language speakers and we find it very difficult to understand what is happening at the end of the episode because of this.

It would be highly beneficial to a lot of non IsiZulu speakers if this electricity awareness strip was presented after the scene is presented, perhaps when the casting etc is being displayed.

i am also against the electricity alert notifications i for one don’t understand any of the south african languages so it really pisses me off when they put them when we have to read at the bottom to know what those guys are saying. Can they please do something about it and maybe put the notices when it time for commercial.

I AGREE ABOUT THE ELECTRICITY ALERT NOTICES. PLEASE STOP THEM AS I AM AN ENGLISH SPEAKING PERSON AND THESE NOTICES COME ON IN THE MOST IMPORTANT TIME OF THE SHOW.
I THINK KARABO, DINEO AND NTOMBI ARE BEAUTIFUL. SHAZ IS A PAIN.
