Hello bloggers, It has been a long time yet again since I have had the chance to write on Gens Blog and also watch Generations. I was going through some of the comments on the Official Generations page on Facebook so I could get an idea of what people are thinking about the show right now and it seems that a lot of you still believe that Generations is boring and there story line is not as gripping as it used to.
The funny thing is that as much as people complain about how boring Generations is, a large number of South African’s still turn their TV’s to SABC 1 at 8 o’clock every week day and still watch Generations. I guess we have just gotten used to watching Generations now even if it is not as great as it used to be.
I managed to watch the show last night and I caught a few episodes and here there a few weeks back and I see that Lungile is back and could he now be Dineo’s next lover? Kenneth is still pushing hard to win Dineo over but I can not see Dineo and Kenneth together again.
Then we have Jason and Nicholas. This to me is a bit more of an interesting storyline as Jason clearly wants Nicholas but Nicholas is not gay. But then way is Nicholas ‘flirting’ and ‘teasing’ Jason? Poor Senzo, he is the one suffering from all of this as he is all alone now and has no one to love. Maybe there should bring in another gay character for Senzo…. on second thoughts…. No…!
The whole Matthew and Choppa thing is a very pointless story line if you ask me. Both characters should just be gotten rid of or they should make something of them instead of just smoking and growing weed!
Sharon seems to be getting in the good books with the Chief now. Hopefully she does not mess everything up for Sammy’s ceremony.
What Generations needs right now is drama! I watch Isidingo too and I must say that the drama in Isidingo right now is ten times better than that of Generations. Isidingo is making me want to watch the next episode and find out what is going on, as for Generations, I can miss a week of episodes and still not have missed much. Come on Generations, up your game, you are better than this drivel you are giving us!

What happened to the days when we couldn’t wait to comment on this blog, with Mexican, Sipokazi, Black Beauty, etc. no one has any interest anymore! The story line is just not up to standard anymore!!
I didn’t watch Generations last night but I am really starting to dislike Sharon’s character nowadays and I use to love her, as for Choppa and Matthew I just don’t see the need for them being there at all. Dineo is a big girl but acting like a love sick teenager who can’t handle her break-up with Paul-just slash your wrists now and get it over and done woman!!
Boring boring
I can`t agre more boring, and boring again rather watch on Muvhango.
It has lost it’s spark.
Please remove Nicholas from the script he`s playing b/coz really he is so boring,and try to find something els 4 Dineo 2 do.Mabena Mabena is back maybe he will give our soapie that spark again by keeping Dineo busy,taking Paul out of her mind.
i cant agree more to what u guyz r saying, most of the cast here need to be changed, Sharon, Nicholas, Dineo, Matthew, Samuel, Kaphela, Chopa they all need boost their characters are so boring that i wud rather watch something else than Generations….Mfundi needs to do something fast….
