I do not see why Sam is fussing about Palesa getting a new car. He should just grow up and accept that women today can do what they please to do. And if she can afford it then what is your problem? It is not like it is your money Sam! After all, Palesa is the boss of the biggest music studio so surely she has quite a bit of cash and if she has not gotten a new car in four years then surely she should get a new car.

It looks like Sam does not want Palesa to get a new car because it will look like Palesa has more money than him. She does Sam! You are a barman and she is a music executive! Guys should just learn to accept that women can make more money than them in the world we live in today.

I just wonder what kind of car Palesa is thinking of buying. The names they were talking about were names of fake cars we have never heard of. They should just use real car names so we know if Palesa is being realistic or not!

Is it just more or did Khethiwe not one day ask Gladice if she could drop her off? At that moment I assumed that Khethiwe now had a car. It would only make sense for a ‘top model’ to have her own car now wouldn’t it? But then on the other hand, Khethiwe decides to take a taxi to go to KZN to see her sick grandmother. Surely wouldn’t she be able to drive down if she had her own car? Oh, and if you are a ‘top model’ wouldn’t you be able to fly down to KZN and the hire a car from there? This is all not making sense to me. They are trying to model Khethiwe as being a ‘top model’ but her character does not seem to be fitting the bill.

It dawned upon me last night when Khetiwe pitched up at Sibusiso’s flat in the middle of the night? How did she get there? I thought she didn’t have a car but maybe she does since she seems to now be travelling all over the show. If she does have a car then let us try figure out what type of a car Khetiwe actually would be driving on Our Soapie. Read the rest of this entry »

It is very rare to see a car in a soap opera and Our Soapie is no exception. But here at Gens Blog we have decided to start a new feature where we will be looking at what car we think our actors and actresses on Our Soapie would drive on the show if we got a chance to see their cars. We always hear of Dineo having a two door sports car and Grace having a ‘run down’ car. What car do you think Sibusiso drives? So we will let our minds get to work and discuss what we think they actually do drive or should be driving inline with their characters. Stay tuned for more.
