Truth sets you free It was nice to see Khetiwe standing up for Khapela for a change I mean the hostility is absolutely unnecessary considering Khetiwe was given the choice to walk away and she didn’t, come night time she expected Khapela to just look at her? I think not, he really huffed and puffed that night and she conceived yho Khapela...

Horny Akhona and Khapela the Muti man Eish I do not know what it is about the violent stories that are making Akhona so horny the past couple of days. Nicholas is starting to complain a bit and it’s just making me wonder whether violence can trigger one’s hormones to that extent. Is it true that women like rough type guys as compared to the gentle ones?...

Mawande breaks down Mawande decided to go see Akhona’s mother and find out what went on back then and why she did not tell anyone about the fact that she had a child by Mzwanele. It was pretty touching how she broke down and told Noluntu about how they had waited and hoped he would return until they got to a point where they stopped talking...

Dineo is playing with fire Is Dineo for real? Is she dumb or does she not see that Lungile is head over heels in love with her because it is so obvious and now there she is taunting the poor man with her silly games to get her mum off her back. Mara why Dineo? I cannot understand how their relationship that seemed to have been developing all of a...

Who is more evil Noluntu or Khetiwe? Well well well yesterday I was really shocked as to the extent of Noluntu’s hate for Akhona. She was prepared for her mother to lose a potential million dollar deal just to prove a stupid that Akhona is a con artist. If we really think about it she is just as evil and conniving as Khetiwe and I would like to hear from...

“You don’t look like someone who prays”

I had a good laugh last night when Ace came over to see Gogo and offer his support to her and he told her that Khethiwe is in his prayers and then Gogo turns to Ace and tells him that he does not look like someone who prays. Gogo does not seem to like any guy who is not Khaphela. But it is Khaphela himself in the end that made Gogo cry when he was telling her that they (Gogo and Khaphela) are the ones that forced Khethiwe to run away. Ace seems to be the only one who knows where Khethiwe is and he asked her to just call Gogo and let her know that she is okay.

Should Khethiwe call Gogo and tell her that she is okay?

Gogo slaps Khethiwe!

What drama last night! Gogo has decided to take matters into her own hands. She invited Khaphela over so that she could tell Khethiwe that she has already arranged for the two families to start negotiating lobola. Khethiwe was not happy with this at all and she started shouting at Gogo and telling Khaphela that she does not love him and instead she loves Dumisani and is going to marry Dumisani. Gogo had enough of this and she slapped Khethiwe on the face where her scars are. I was in total shock! I could not believe that Gogo would do such a thing.

I know a long time ago (maybe not even that long ago), in certain cultures the girls had no choice but to marry the guy their family had chosen for them. But this is now, do you feel that these customs should still be there today? What makes it worse in Khethiwe’s case is that she does not love the person she is meant to be marrying. I recall Ntombi was in a similar situation when she wanted to marry Dlomo and her family did not want her to. But in the end the decided that their daughters happiness is the most important thing.

Do you think that it is right for Khethiwe to be forced to marry Khaphela?

Khethiwe’s treatment of Gogo

We all know Khethiwe has not been happy with all that is happening with Gogo coming from KZN to make sure she does not get involved with the ‘Xhosa Boy’ Dumisani. Khethiwe lost it and got mad and started to shout at Gogo when Gogo realised that Khethiwe had snuck out and spent the night with Dumisani.

I can see where Khethiwe is coming from by being so angry at Gogo as she just wants to live her own life but I do not think that shouting at your elders is the right thing to do no matter how angry you are at them. Now Gogo wants to go back to KZN as she says she has ‘washed her hands clean’ with Khethiwe. Khethiwe is now realising she made a big mistake as she is about to loose her family due to her love for the Xhosa Boy.

Do you believe that the muti Dumisani got from the sangoma is what is making Khethiwe fall hopelessly in love with him? Because I think this love Khethiwe is showing for Dumisani is a bit too much after all they have been through. Is this ‘muti love’?

I am not sure how long Khethiwe’s gogo is going to be on Our Soapie but I am kinda enjoying seeing her on our screens. She seems to be the no nonsense type of person. I enjoyed it two episodes ago when she insisted to go shopping with Khethiwe. But then again, how could she possibly suggest that Khethiwe should sew her own clothes in this day in age? Then Khethiwe took her out for dinner and she had no idea what was on the menu and she complained about the prices. You have to understand that she is not used to this lifestyle.

Then last night I had a good laugh when Queen came to visit Khethiwe and Queen was going on and on about Mr. D and then gogo asked “Who is Mr. D?” Gogo has no time for Dumisani and there is no way I can ever see Dumisani being allowed to marry Khethiwe after all of this.

What do you think about Khethiwe’s gogo?
