Category : Gossip, Queen
As the onscreen drama of Generations is relatively boring these days, Gens Blog has today decided to look at what is happening in the real world with Our Soapie stars. And just like Queen is the drama and heart beat of Generation on the screen, she is also making waves in the real world. The Sunday World reports that Sophie Ndaba (Queen) has found a new love and he is younger than her (much younger), but hey, age is just a number right and love knows no age?
The man Sophie is alleged to have fallen for is R&B and Afro-pop singer of the duo Oh My Gosh, Tshepo “Lagosh” Mashile. The ‘couple’ have been spotted in and around the party scenes in the past week. On Tuesday they attended the Metro FM Awards nominations party at Hush in Rosebank. Then on Wednesday Lagosh accompanied Sophie to Atlas Studios in Johannesburg for the Feather Awards. To cap off the night, Sophie won the Feathers Socialite of The Year award. At all these events, the new lovers were openly showing affection for each other, only hiding it when they spotted journalists. Then on Friday, the happy couple attended Khanyi Mbau’s farewell party at ZAR bar lounge in Sandton.
It is going to be interesting to see how this ‘relationship’ turns out as the two of them are always going to be in the limelight as they are both celebrities.

Category : Gossip, Sarah
According to a report in the Sowetan today, Sarah whose real name is Delisile Malinga will be leaving Generations. According to the report, it is suggested that Sarah will be leaving because the producers are not happy with her acting and mediocre acting skills.
Well we would not know much about her attitude on set as we are never there but when it comes to her acting skills, I will be the first to admit that she is not the best of actors out there. Maybe the character she plays does not bring out her best acting skills as acting as a maid is not challenging and being the wife of Khaphela is a fairly boring role if you ask me. I think the best bit if acting I have seen Sarah do was last night when she was showing signs of being upset when Khaphela was comforting Khethiwe.
With regards to her poor attitude on set, Sarah does not look like the time who would be a prima donna and arrive to work late.
Now the funny thing according to the Sowetan report is that the Generations producers are saying that Sarah will be eventually phased out of the soapie. But then the report goes on to get the views of Sarah and she is saying, “”I’m shocked! Where did you get that from? This is news to me. Nobody told me that they had problems with me. I do not know what to say.” So she does not know that she will be leaving the show.
We do not only have drama on the show but we have it off it! We will have to wait and see how this unfolds.
