We all know Khethiwe has not been happy with all that is happening with Gogo coming from KZN to make sure she does not get involved with the ‘Xhosa Boy’ Dumisani. Khethiwe lost it and got mad and started to shout at Gogo when Gogo realised that Khethiwe had snuck out and spent the night with Dumisani.

I can see where Khethiwe is coming from by being so angry at Gogo as she just wants to live her own life but I do not think that shouting at your elders is the right thing to do no matter how angry you are at them. Now Gogo wants to go back to KZN as she says she has ‘washed her hands clean’ with Khethiwe. Khethiwe is now realising she made a big mistake as she is about to loose her family due to her love for the Xhosa Boy.

Do you believe that the muti Dumisani got from the sangoma is what is making Khethiwe fall hopelessly in love with him? Because I think this love Khethiwe is showing for Dumisani is a bit too much after all they have been through. Is this ‘muti love’?

The drama on Friday night had to be when Khaphela stormed into Dumisani’s house with Khethiwe’s gogo. So now we know that Khaphela had gone to KZN to tell Khethiwe’s gogo what her grand daughter was getting up now. In the end she demanded that Khethiwe leaves Dumisani’s house and she goes back home with her to KZN. Now I am not sure if Khaphela did all of this because he really cares about Khethiwe and wants the best for her or is he doing it just to get back at Dumisani? What do you guys think?

I never thought I would see the day that Sba hits someone! If there was ever going to be only one person he would hit in his life, it had to be Dumisani! I have not enjoyed an episode of Our Soapie in a long time like last nights. Firstly, I think it was wrong for Khaphela to tell Khethiwe the truth about Dumisani just before she went in for surgery, he should have told her way before or after she had recovered. It was clear why Khethiwe was pissed of when he told her and she told Sba to go. This did not sit well with Sba and he was pissed off that Khethiwe did not believe him and he decided to take out his frustrations on Dumisani and he punched him!

I was shocked at how quickly Khethiwe’s surgery took. I have never had plastic surgery myself or known of anyone who has had it done to them before but I would have thought that the process is long. And the fact that Khethiwe left hospital the same day leads me to believe that Our Soapie did not do a good job with the reality of that scene. But nonetheless Khethiwe has finally gotten her face fixed and hopefully that is the last we will see of those bandages!

What was then shocking was that she decided to go home with Dumisani and not Khaphela! I do not understand this woman! But I guess as they say, love makes us blind, and in this case Khethiwe is very blind to not see the kind of person Dumisani is.

Did you notice Khethiwe on the exercise bike last night in the gym? I was stunned that she was doing that with her huge stomach. Surely that can not be good for the baby! I am not sure how physically possible it is to ride a bike when you are that pregnant, maybe the ladies on Gens Blog can enlighten me on that one. I just found it to be very awkward.

Then Dumisani has to walk into the gym and be happy around Khethiwe. Khaphela saw all of this and he was not impressed at all. Sba should just let this whole Dumisani thing go and rather try focusing on building a relationship with Khethiwe if that is what he wants now that his is a ‘Single Lady’!

Finally, the relationship between Dumisani and Khethiwe is ‘over’, this after Dumisani asked Khethiwe for a break so he can sort his life out. I do not know whether to say well done to Dumisani for doing this or has he seen that it is better to break up with Khethiwe before she finds out the truth about the pictures?
I feel sorry for Khethiwe, she was so understanding about the whole thing when Dumisani told her that he wanted a break; if only she knew the kind of person Dumisani really is! Now we just have to wait and see what happens but I think we are in for some drama as I saw a clip of the episodes coming up this week and Khaphela punched Dumisani! I can not wait to see what that was all about!

I do not think I have ever seen Khaphela this angry before! He did not even smile once at Khethiwe’s dinner party last night to celebrate that she has been accepted into the design school. Ephraim left Khaphela an envelope which contained his SIM card with the messages Dumisani had sent him asking if he had put Khethiwe’s pictures into Mashaba News.

So Khaphela now knows that Dumisani was behind the pictures being published in the paper. What we now have to wait and see is if Khaphela will tell Khethiwe that Dumisani was involved. I think Khaphela should tell her so that she does not continue to be in love with the snake that is Dumisani.

Now we know that it was Dumisani who got pictures of Khethiwe published in Mashaba News but all this time I thought it was Kenneth who arranged for the pictures to be published. The question I then ask is, “Why did Dumisani do that if he claims to love Khethiwe?”

I have never liked this guy and have failed to understand him. And now the sangoma is telling him that Bridgette is dead but I do not buy it. Bridgette is going to come back sooner rather than later.

I was impressed with Khethiwe last night when she stood up to Dumisani! I just laugh every time I see Dumisani bursting through Khethiwe’s door because you know he is going to be rude and rough towards her. But this time Khethiwe gave back as good as she got from Dumisani. Dumisani literally told Khethiwe that they would be going to the party together but Khethiwe said she will be going alone! Good on you girl!

This father - son reunion party is going to be very interesting. I wonder how Sibusiso and Senzo are going to react to the surprise? Then there is also going to be the drama of both Dumisani and Khethiwe being there ‘together’. I bet you that these two are going to spoil the party!

We have all been discussing who we feel Khethiwe should date as a lot of us agree that Dumisani is not the right man for Khethiwe. Last night we saw Khethiwe inviting Ace over for dinner. The two of them seemed to be enjoying each others company and they were having a good time. The two seem to have quite a bit in common based on how they were raised. It is clear that Ace has feelings for Khethiwe. The dinner was however interrupted by Dumisani! He just walked into Khethiwe’s flat and told Ace to leave. What made me laugh was when Dumisani said to Khethiwe, “I do not expect to see another man when I get home!” Then Khethiwe replied saying that this is not your home.

Ace did the right thing by just leaving and not causing a scene. In a way I can see why Dumisani was angry, he is Khethiwe’s boyfriends after all and how would you feel when you go to your girlfriends place and you see her having dinner with another man that: 1) you do not like 2) your girlfriend never told you she is going to have dinner with and 3) you know the guy has feelings for your woman.

I have said it time after time that Khethiwe should just leave Dumisani!

I guess we have been waiting for a very long time to find out what the story is behind Khethiwe’s pregnancy on Our Soapie. Some of us had thought that they would factor it into the current story line and say that Khethiwe is pregnant with Dumisani’s child whilst some even thought that they could say it’s Khaphela’s child. We have waited and waited but I think it is time for us to give up now! We just have to accept that Mfundi Vundla is not going to factor in Khethiwe’s real life pregnancy onto the show. Which is sad in a way as all of us who watch the Soapie can clearly see that she is pregnant and even though they are trying to hide it, it is just not working anymore.

If they did not want to include Khethiwe’s pregnancy in the script then maybe they should have sent her on leave when she really started to show that she was pregnant. They simply could have said she has gone to KZN to be with her family whilst she heels from her scars. I wonder what they are going to do now when she is on maternity leave? Maybe that is when they will say she is having her plastic surgery and she will be away recovering from the surgery and then hopefully she will come back onto Our Soapie after her maternity leave without a big stomach and without her bandages!

I have just come from watching tonights episode of Our Soapie and decided to blog now as I have a very hectic morning tomorrow. I could not help but laughing when Ace was talking to Khethiwe and Ace said to Khethiwe, “I like your dress”. Go Ace!! He was laying on the charm tonight and I think Khethiwe could actually have feelings for Ace in a funny way.

What then really got me laughing was when Khethiwe went to meet Dumisani for lunch and then Dumisani said to Khethiwe that he has never seen the dress she is wearing before. Khethiwe then said, “Don’t you like it?” Dumisani replied, “Not really!!” The same dress Ace liked, Dumisani did not like!!

Dumisani has some serious issues and I think it is best for Khethi to just leave this guy and rather focus on Ace who genuinely likes her.

I had a good laugh last night when Dumisani and Khethiwe went to see the doctor! Dumisani was so excited, it was like he was the one who had the scars. It is clear for all of us to see that Dumisani has a problem with the scars and he wants them to go away as quick as possible. The way Dumisani was just pestering the doctor about finding out how quickly they can get a hold of the plastic surgeon was hilarious. You would think that he wants the plastic surgery to happen tomorrow. But Khethiwe is not too keen on having this plastic surgery and I think at the end of the day Khethiwe is going to refuse to have the surgery done. But then on the other hand, she can not be wearing those bandages forever and they just have to go!

Whilst we are still talking about Khethiwe, I, like everyone else on Gens Blog is very disappointed that Mfundi Vundla has decided not to factor in Khethiwe’e pregnancy into Our Soapie. What ever the reason is for not integrating Khethiwe’s pregnancy into the show, it was a bad call.
