Truth sets you free It was nice to see Khetiwe standing up for Khapela for a change I mean the hostility is absolutely unnecessary considering Khetiwe was given the choice to walk away and she didn’t, come night time she expected Khapela to just look at her? I think not, he really huffed and puffed that night and she conceived yho Khapela...

Horny Akhona and Khapela the Muti man Eish I do not know what it is about the violent stories that are making Akhona so horny the past couple of days. Nicholas is starting to complain a bit and it’s just making me wonder whether violence can trigger one’s hormones to that extent. Is it true that women like rough type guys as compared to the gentle ones?...

Mawande breaks down Mawande decided to go see Akhona’s mother and find out what went on back then and why she did not tell anyone about the fact that she had a child by Mzwanele. It was pretty touching how she broke down and told Noluntu about how they had waited and hoped he would return until they got to a point where they stopped talking...

Dineo is playing with fire Is Dineo for real? Is she dumb or does she not see that Lungile is head over heels in love with her because it is so obvious and now there she is taunting the poor man with her silly games to get her mum off her back. Mara why Dineo? I cannot understand how their relationship that seemed to have been developing all of a...

Who is more evil Noluntu or Khetiwe? Well well well yesterday I was really shocked as to the extent of Noluntu’s hate for Akhona. She was prepared for her mother to lose a potential million dollar deal just to prove a stupid that Akhona is a con artist. If we really think about it she is just as evil and conniving as Khetiwe and I would like to hear from...

Well so far everything seems to be going well for our characters because Akhona has finally landed a job as a waitress at Tsalanang (thanks to Senzo) and she seems pretty excited though we can’t say the same with Nicholas who was not for the idea of her working there. He seems to be having his way with Akhona now that he is “being a brother to be a lover” and he listens to her moping about her life but I should say he has not yet got the jest as he is heard making nasty comments here and there and as usual Akhona throws him out .
The Samuel and Sharon saga is finally over (phew) and they seem to be getting back on track with their marriage after the touching re-marriage.

While everyone’s problems seem to have subsided Mawande’s are just getting worse now that she has to deal with her daughter’s lover’s wife who seems to be determined to squeeze a million out of Mawande. I really pray that she doesn’t pay because I don’t think there are any guarantees when it comes to blackmail. I feel though that David’s wife might not be the only one with the tape seeing that Mawande’s daughter got another of those smses after David’s estranged wife was told to stop with the threats so let’s just wait and see.

I can’t wait to see how Khetiwe plans to take Khapela down because I can’t help but feel something bad is coming his way.

Jason seems to have taken a liking for Mawande’s daughter so we will see how that will unfold as well.
For now that’s it folks. @makanakam

Akhona the Ghetto Child

1

Category : Akhona, Nicholas, Polls

As the saying goes you can take the girl out of the ghetto but you can’t take her ghetto behaviour out of her. The look on Nicholas’ face said it all as he watched in utter shock as Akhona gobbled up the food and asked to doggy bag his left overs. Given her situation it is understandable; a girl’s gotta eat right? and if someone keeps begging to take you out for a meal I would have done exactly that.

Akhona to me is the real deal and the breath of fresh air that we all needed in Generations. I mean she is not picture perfect as everyone else is made out to be (and by that I don’t mean she is ugly either). She is your average girl next door who needs to work hard to put food on the table. She does have some bad habits which just add that spice to her character (although I am not sure why she was removing her earrings).
I just love the fact that she does not pretend to be someone she is not to be able to fit in Nicholas’s world and just because he brought her food does not mean that she owes him a thing so yeah sorry Nicholas no kiss on the first “date”.

I can’t wait to see what other ghetto behaviour she has up her sleeve and whether Nicholas will be able to keep up.

Do you guys think that they would make a good couple?

Decisions need to be made

Happy Friday everyone. There seems to be a lot going on on Our Soapie at this moment in time. The highlight is obviously what is going on between Sibusiso, Senzo and Jason. Senzo went to see Sibusiso yesterday and the way the were shouting and insulting each other, you would never think they are father and son! Senzo tried to reach out to his dad but he was having none of it and thus Senzo has decided to back Jason when he takes the issue of being fired to court.

Meanwhile, Sibusiso has decided to cancel the unveiling of Busi’s tombstone all because of this situation with Senzo. I personally think it is very unfair on Busi’s part and as Ntombi said, Busi would never have judged Senzo being gay.

Do you think it is right for Sibusiso to cancel the unveiling of Busi's tombstone?

On the other side of town we have Khaphela and Sarah. Sarah has decided it is time she introduces Khaphela to her family. And straight after that, Khaphela decides that it’s time to start the lobola negotiations with Sarah’s family! Slow down Khaps! In the space of a year (or less) he was ready to marry Khethiwe, then he was on the verge of marrying Cleo and now he wants to marry Sarah. Khaphela seems to think marriage is an easy thing. But then on the other hand, he is not getting any younger and he needs to get married soon. I hope things work out with him and Sarah but I have a funny feeling something is going to go wrong.. This is Generations after all!

Is Khaphela doing the right thing by wanting to marry Sarah?

Then there is Dumisani and Khethiwe. I am firmly on Rathabile’s side and I believe that Khethiwe should stay as far away as possible from Dumisani. So Dumisani decided to give Khethiwe a ring last night as a sign of him promising to her that he will never hit or abuse her ever again and in return Khethiwe has to promise never to take the ring off. I do not buy this sneaky tactic Dumisani is trying to play.. we all know he is not going to stick to his promise. Khethiwe should bite the other cheek!

Finally, Paul and Dineo. Did you see that kiss Dineo planted on Paul’s cheek right in front of Karabo? Luckily Karabo did not see it as she was probably asleep. You could see that Paul was shocked that Dineo gave him a kiss when Karabo was there. Paul clearly wants Dineo but how is he going to dump Karabo now?

What should Paul do?

And whilst all of this is unfolding, Kenneth is quietly waiting in the wings. He has not been up to much lately but we know it’s only a matter of time and with all the drama unfolding he is going to have fun! Can you imagine how he will react when he finds out that Senzo is gay? he will not let Sibusiso hear the end of it. And how will he react when he finds out about Paul and Dineo?

Happy blogging and polling today and have a great weekend!

Generations Couples for 2010

256

Category : Polls, The Show

It is yet another new year on Our Soapie and as always there are going to be new relationships and break ups. So far we have a couple of couples who seem to be going strong; there is Dlomo and Ntombi, they had their tough patch last year but hopefully this year they will have no drama. Then Jason and Senzo also had their tiff but they seem to be back together. Dumisani and Khethiwe are also set to have a good year… I hope.

I am not too sure about Paul and Karabo, they seem to be falling off the rails, largely due to the fact that Paul has ‘feelings’ for Dineo. Sam and Shaz, made a great couple but that all seems to be falling down the way side.

So today I would like to ask you guys what you think is going to happen to the couples this year? I see lots of drama and I have placed a poll below asking you which couple you think will form the best bond in 2010? Mind you, I have come up with a few twists of my own that I think may occur in 2010.

Which couple do you think will form the best bond in 2010?
