I am sure that you are just as surprised as me to see Rachel come from Chicago to Johburg just like that! And what was even more shocking was seeing Rachel pregnant. The Mashaba family is really messed up! When did Rachel get pregnant and who is the child’s father? I would laugh if its Kenneth’s. Who knows, maybe Kenneth and Rachel got together when Rachel was last in Johburg. Grace had every right to be as mad as she was because the three people in her life that mattered have all been lying to her for 20 years. I think she is doing the right thing of just leaving and going to Canada to start a new life.

The plot thickens. It is now clear that something happened between Paul and Rachel sometime ago which they are not willing to tell Grace. The question is, “what are they hiding?” Last nights show ended with Rachel telling Paul that, “we have to tell her!” Now I am guessing here but I have a funny feeling that Paul is not Grace’s biological dad! And it would not surprise me if Kenneth turns out to be Grace’s dad! This is Our Soapie and anything is possible! What else could be that bad that they are keeping away from Grace.

With the way Ajax has been going on about not wanting to be part of Graces plan, I have a funny feeling that he is going to tell Grace’s mum the truth. For me, the highlight of tonights show is when Rachel approached Ajax in Tsalanang and told him that she is Grace’s mum. What are the chances of that happening? After ‘the master plan’ involving Ajax and Grace, it now seems like Rachel will be coming up to Johannesburg from Cape Town to be with her daughter in ‘her time of need’ if the plan goes according to plan. How silly can Grace be for planning to say she is pregnant and to get her parents together but then she doesn’t even know what to do next? How can you make a plan that you do not know how you are going to carry it out? For a varsity girl that is pretty dumb. But anyway, if Rachel is to come up to Joburg that could mean we will have a new character in Our Soupie in the form of Rachel. We need another new face on the show to spice things up as the show had been becoming a bit stale.

“I’m pregnant!” is this the plan Grace and Ajax have for getting Paul and Rachel back together? I must say the thought of it had never crossed my mind and this could actually be an ingenious plan. Grace has told her mum that she is pregnant and every mom wants to be near her daughter when she is pregnant for the first time. Now if things go the way I think they will, Rachel will come up from Cape Town to be with Grace and obviously Paul will be there and I guess they will be forced to spend time together and hopefully they can get back together. In real life I do not think this would work but after all this is a soap opera and anything can happen! What would be realistic though is if Paul ‘knocks the living daylights’ out of Ajax for making his ‘little girl’ pregnant. If Paul doesn’t get mad with Ajax then something is seriously wrong. With the way Paul was mad at Kenneth today one can only imagine how angry he would be at the boy who made his daughter pregnant.
