Category : Mawande, Recap
If you can’t beat them join them, is what they say and Mawande deserves a big round of applause for taking the big step and releasing the story herself instead of letting that gold digger suck them dry with her demands, this is what I have been waiting to see as I feel as though no one should let another blackmail them because once you pay they will just demand more and more and before you know it they control your life. I just can’t wait to see the look on Swazi’s face when she reads the front page newspaper and sees the story.
Sibusiso gave Ntombi a piece of his mind and am glad that he did because she is being really silly. I just feel like she wants to make it seem as though Sibusiso is the only one in the wrong when she obviously has feelings for that Joe and she will probably run to him now that there are problems at home.
Poor Sharon she has not been given a choice and she will just have to move as that is what the ancestors expect them to do.
Nicholas and Akhona aaaawwwwww (enough said).
Senzo is continuing to annoy me and now I hope Jason jumps ship and shows him he is not the only fish in the sea, and he should know to blame the right people.
Jabulani yesterday cracked me up with his poetry when he was chaffing Queen; we definitely need more Jabulani in this world hey.
Anyway guys it’s the season to be jolly enjoy and be safe.
I will be watching and keeping you informed so just log in or follow me on twitter @makanakam and I will hook you up with the latest.
For now so long folks
Ciao.

Category : Mawande, Recap, Sibusiso
Yesterday I thought Sibusiso had been warned by Mawande that if he publishes the footage she will tell Ntombi everything. I then did not understand how even after that threat he went ahead to seal the deal with the devil herself (Swazi), and they are apparently signing the transfer of right papers. The only thing that could make sense is if Swazi was speaking to another Mr Dlomo (which to me is highly unlikely) or maybe their past is that not much of a big deal as Mawande would like to put it or maybe just maybe Sibusiso has something up his sleeve.
You guys should have seen the smile on my face when Khuboni walked out on Khetiwe and Akhona. I must say what he said “there are people who committed worse crimes than me who are walking free” really caught my attention and now I am wondering what it is that Khapela could have done back then. As much as I hate the fact that Khapela will be put in a bad light I really would like to find out what he did and am hoping that Khuboni will change his mind and will talk.
On another note “where exactly do Ntombi’s loyalties lie?” Let’s take a vote as well as discuss it further, if you were in her shoes whose side will you pick your spouse or your boss?
Ciao

Category : Akhona, Jason, Mawande, Nolundu, Polls, Recap, Senzo
Well so far everything seems to be going well for our characters because Akhona has finally landed a job as a waitress at Tsalanang (thanks to Senzo) and she seems pretty excited though we can’t say the same with Nicholas who was not for the idea of her working there. He seems to be having his way with Akhona now that he is “being a brother to be a lover” and he listens to her moping about her life but I should say he has not yet got the jest as he is heard making nasty comments here and there and as usual Akhona throws him out .
The Samuel and Sharon saga is finally over (phew) and they seem to be getting back on track with their marriage after the touching re-marriage.
While everyone’s problems seem to have subsided Mawande’s are just getting worse now that she has to deal with her daughter’s lover’s wife who seems to be determined to squeeze a million out of Mawande. I really pray that she doesn’t pay because I don’t think there are any guarantees when it comes to blackmail. I feel though that David’s wife might not be the only one with the tape seeing that Mawande’s daughter got another of those smses after David’s estranged wife was told to stop with the threats so let’s just wait and see.
I can’t wait to see how Khetiwe plans to take Khapela down because I can’t help but feel something bad is coming his way.
Jason seems to have taken a liking for Mawande’s daughter so we will see how that will unfold as well.
For now that’s it folks. @makanakam
If you were Jason who would go for Nolundu or stick to Senzo?

Category : Akhona, Nicholas, Recap, Sam, Sharon
“You keep wondering what the hack is going on in their heads. Even when a man wins he still loses”
Nicholas thought he had it all figured out when Akhona invited him over, but he got the shock of his life when she kicked him out just when he thought everything was flowing. I really can’t blame Akhona on this one because women are emotional beings and I would have reacted the same if a guy tells me “I don’t want to know because I am not looking for a BFF” when I am opening up and showing my vulnerability. Maybe guys just need to insensitive sometimes and I am sure he would have had a different result had he just listened for a few minutes more. So Nicholas YOU LOSE.
Ntombi seems to think Sibusiso is trying to keep her quiet when he bought her some jewellery. Whether this is true or not we will just have to wait and find out but for now Sibusiso loses.
Samuel Khumalo hmmmmmm(BIG SIGH) what does a man have to do to prove that he is sorry. Even after the touching speech” let’s celebrate our differences and ultimately may they be what keeps us together” ( which was obviously aimed at Sharon) and buying tickets for a getaway, Sharon did not buy it. She threw him off completely as she told him how things cannot be fixed with a kiss and make up session. Samuel definitely loses but maybe he should heed to his own advice and cut his losses, because I feel this whole sob story Sharon is pulling is getting out of hand and she need to be taught a lesson.
Well for now I am not sure if men will ever win because it seems you need to be a woman or get into their heads to be able to understand them, but then again as Sam said” How the hell should we figure out what women want when they don’t know themselves?”.
Please give me your views and comments and let’s take a vote on whether women are complicated or are men just insensitive? @makanakam.

Category : Recap, The Show
There is so many secrets that the characters have at the moment that I am getting headaches from trying to crack the codes to find out what really is going on. I know soapies are supposed to have some element of mystery and suspense but now it’s getting a bit over the top because everyone seems to have a secret:
Akhona has a secret, from what I gather she must have a child back home who her gran is looking after, how that story is going to unfold I suppose we just have to wait and see, but I hope Nicholas is prepared for what he is (unknowingly) getting himself in.
Ruby seems to have a grudge against Dineo’s father. What is it that he did to her that makes her so angry? I just hope that it will come out in the open one day but from the looks of things it’s a long time coming (sigh)
Khetiwe has so many scandalous stories I just don’t understand how she has managed to get away with it and get her job back while Khapela is left on the side lines (but I suppose that is a story for another day).
Khapela (Bra Khaps) as he is popularly known has always been portrayed as this caring man until he got involved with Khetiwe and now it seems there is more to him than meets the eye. He has some dark past that he “thinks” is well hidden in KZN but it seems that all hell will break loose and Akhona (Thanks to Khetiwe) will reveal him for who he really is, mmmmmm I wonder.
Nicholas’s father (Mr Nomvete) seems to know more about the real cause of the accident that took Nicholas’ mother’s life, could she have been carrying another man’s child? Well we just have to keep wondering don’t we?
Mawande and Sibusiso: I am sure we are all just about to give up on finding out what really went down with them back in the days. Mawande did mention that Sibusiso took off with his family’s money but that was about it. Then there is the issue with the spear that Ntombi framed I wonder what is the story with that but am hoping to find out soon enough.
Then we have the issue of Mawande and Caleb, what really is going on with that relationship no one knows. It seems as though he is globetrotting somewhere and she is the one doing the chasing around.
The one story that had my tongue wagging the whole weekend is the one concerning Mawande’s daughter and a David character we know nothing of. It seems as though whatever it is that they did got her fleeing from London and was hoping no one will find out BUT from the look on Mawande’s face when she was viewing the CD she received from a mysterious person (and the noises mmmmmmmm) it can’t be good, but then again it could be Caleb with some other woman yho and the plot thickens.
For now we just have to keep guessing as to what really is up with all these characters.
Keep watching folks and give me feedback as to what you think is actually going on.

I had a good laugh last night when Sam was telling his dad that Sammy’s full name is Sammy Valentino Khumalo! The chief grabbed the birth certificate and ripped it up saying that there is no way his grandson will be named Valentino and he will be given a proper name at the ceremony. Chief Valentino, that would be a funny name for a chief!
The drama with Lungile and Dineo is continuing now that Dineo wants to be the editor of Lungile’s new magazine and Lungile has made it clear that he wants to work closely with whoever will be editor of the magazine. How close does he want to get to the editor? I see some form of a relationship brewing between Lungile and Dineo, watch this space.
Besides that, not much happened last night on Generations we will just have to wait and see what happens tonight when Sam is going to confront the chief about his sons name. This should be funny!!!!

Category : Dineo, Recap
Good morning bloggers,
I hope I find you well. I had a good laugh last night when Jiga was telling Ma Rugby about what people are saying about Dineo now that she is getting married again. People know that Dineo has slept around the Mashaba family and Paul is the third Mashaba she has been with after Kenneth and Thomas. So now Jiga was telling Ma Rugby that people are wondering what name Dineo will be called, “Will it be Dineo Mashaba, Dineo Mashaba Mashaba or Dineo Mashaba Mashaba Mashaba?”
I just hope that their marriage goes well but it seems like there is going to be drama as Paul’s results from the doctor do not look to good and hopefully tonight we will finally know what is wrong with Paul.
The love drama continues on Our Soapie with Queen seemingly smitten over Sharon’s brother. Come on now Queen, go after a man your own age! I felt sorry for her though when he turned down Queen’s dinner invitation. Queen told him that they had the whole house to themselves! Now imagine how much ‘fun’ they could have had.
And what is it with Dumisani? He can not seem to get over Khethiwe and now he has even offered her to stay with him as Khethiwe wants to move away from Siqualo as she does not want to be near Khaphela! I see this Dumisani and Khethiwe relationship taking a new twist now… Someone is going to get killed this time!
