Well it seems as though Sharon has finally faced the music and has quit her job to go join Samuel in Mahlabathini. Mawande and Dineo were taken a bit by surprise with the news but Sharon seems to have made up her mind and well Generations as we know it will be a bit different without Samuel and Sharon. Noluntu did not waste time she has already asked her mother if she could step into Sharon’s shoes and from the way I see it she will be the new Editor in Chief of Mashaba Women.
Ntombi went to give Mawande a piece of her mind but was put back in her place when Mawande told her straight up how they(Ntombi and Sibusiso) might have been living a lie and that the “real” Sibusiso was bound to come out. In an interesting turn of events the Dlomos ended last night’s episode by sharing a passionate kiss which I doubt will amount to anything because Ntombi is definitely leaving the soapie.
Akhona was humiliated beyond what she ever imagined by Nicholas’ father. Nicholas was hoping to persuade his dad to sponsor Akhona’s documentary but things did not turn out as he had thought and we saw Mr Nomvete calling Akhona one of Nicholas’ floozies.
Khetiwe is getting more and more agitated about the whole Khubone issue and how Akhona seems not interested (much to my delight). I just hope Akhona will not change her mind.
That’s it from me for today.

Morning everyone. I did not realise that I caused a bit of a stir yesterday with my post; I mean I could just picture someone boxing gloves and all ready to shred me into pieces lol (just playing guys). Anyway I just want to say I appreciate all your comments and please keep ‘em coming.
Ok back to our soapie, it appears as though Samuel is definitely leaving (Haaaaaaaallleeelluuuaaaaa I finally see the light) and he is determined to start this project and make his people and his father proud much to Sharon’s dismay. Sharon is upset because she says she did not really sign up for this as she “thought” Samuel was a town boy and Mahlabatini was out of the picture. What exactly was she thinking? Did she really think that Samuel will let his birth right just pass him by while he is serving people drinks? I don’t think so. As much as I understand that she has her career going well and just got an award, she should do as Ntombi said and follow her husband “for better or worse” and this is definitely her worse.
I just would like to pose a question to all you people whether if any of you were in Sharon’s shoes what would you pick, career or marriage?

Hello everyone, as I was watching generations on Friday, I couldn’t help but get the feeling that maybe just MAYBE Samuel Khumalo could be leaving the soapie.
He is the chief’s son and from what I understood he had made it quite clear to his father that he is not interested in staying in KZN because he has a life in town. I cannot understand why all of a sudden he goes there and next thing he is taken by the needs of the people and wants to save the world. If this is the way he is going to leave the soapie, I feel that is a lame way of doing so, why did they just not let Sharon refuse to re-marry him then he could run off on a cruise ship as he was known to do back in the day.
Maybe Sharon is coming out as well mmmmmmmmm (sigh) who knows?
Guess we all just have to wait and see the drama unfold.

“You keep wondering what the hack is going on in their heads. Even when a man wins he still loses”
Nicholas thought he had it all figured out when Akhona invited him over, but he got the shock of his life when she kicked him out just when he thought everything was flowing. I really can’t blame Akhona on this one because women are emotional beings and I would have reacted the same if a guy tells me “I don’t want to know because I am not looking for a BFF” when I am opening up and showing my vulnerability. Maybe guys just need to insensitive sometimes and I am sure he would have had a different result had he just listened for a few minutes more. So Nicholas YOU LOSE.
Ntombi seems to think Sibusiso is trying to keep her quiet when he bought her some jewellery. Whether this is true or not we will just have to wait and find out but for now Sibusiso loses.
Samuel Khumalo hmmmmmm(BIG SIGH) what does a man have to do to prove that he is sorry. Even after the touching speech” let’s celebrate our differences and ultimately may they be what keeps us together” ( which was obviously aimed at Sharon) and buying tickets for a getaway, Sharon did not buy it. She threw him off completely as she told him how things cannot be fixed with a kiss and make up session. Samuel definitely loses but maybe he should heed to his own advice and cut his losses, because I feel this whole sob story Sharon is pulling is getting out of hand and she need to be taught a lesson.
Well for now I am not sure if men will ever win because it seems you need to be a woman or get into their heads to be able to understand them, but then again as Sam said” How the hell should we figure out what women want when they don’t know themselves?”.
Please give me your views and comments and let’s take a vote on whether women are complicated or are men just insensitive? @makanakam.

From my perspective, I may be biased as I am a guy but I do not think that Sharon is being fair with Sam. Yes Sam, kissed Lulu but that was it, it was a once off and he did not sleep with her and he has told Sharon and said he is sorry. Why then is Sharon not forgiving Sam?
Sam is doing everything he can to say he is sorry and it seems to be working in bits and pieces but Sharon is still giving him a very hard time. Last night Sam went down to buy chocolate at the kiosk and he took his time and Sharon came down and started to shout at him, complaining that he is taking too long. I can bet you Sharon was thinking that Sam was cheating and probably cheating with Akhona.
I would like to ask you ladies: why is Sharon still behaving the way she is after Sam has said he is sorry? What more does Sam have to do?

I can not believe what Lulu said yesterday! Infront of everyone, besides Sharon, she said her and Sam have kissed! Now the whole world knows, including Ruby and she told Sam that he must tell Sharon himself rather than hear it from someone else, something which I totally agree with.
Sam was man enough to tell Sharon yesterday that he has kissed Lulu and that is where the episode ended and now we have to wait and see tonight what happens!
But let us look at this a bit more closely; Sam does have some ‘feelings’ for Lulu so we can not say that it was just an innocent kiss. It may have only happened once but it was a kiss. Ladies, would you be upset if you were Sharon and you heard this? Your husband has just told you she has kissed another girl who is HOT!
But can you blame Sam for kissing Lulu? He is only human and a guy after all and he was spending so much time with Lulu that something was going to happen. Yesterday just pushed it over the edge when Sharon asked Sam to model with Lulu. You could see Sam was not comfortable about and that resulted in Lulu saying what she said.
Was Lulu right to blurt out to everyone that her and Sam have kissed before?

Sam almost let the cat out of the bag last night when he congratulated Khaphela about having a baby. Dumisani was standing next to Khaphela when Sam was there and Dumisani congratulated Sba and said “Congratulations to you and Sarah.” Sam was puzzled as he knows that Khaphela’s baby is coming from Khethiwe. You could see that Sam wanted to explain to Dumisani that it is Khethiwe who is pregnant with Khaphela’s baby but he saw that it was not right. So now Dumisani knows that someone is pregnant and he thinks it is Sarah so now I assume he is going to congratulate Sarah when he sees her and Sarah is going to be the one who tells him that Khethiwe is carrying Khaphela’s baby. All this anger management Dumisani is trying to do is going to fall apart when he hears this news!
But credit to Dumisani for confessing infront of everybody that he was a woman abuser. It takes a lot for a man to confess that.
