Why oh why does Senzo not listen? It was pretty obvious from the moment Kenneth gave him a job at Mashaba Media that Kenneth had a plan up his sleeve. Does Senzo honestly think he is a marketing genius ? Kenneth is just stringing him along and making him feel good and it has gotten to Senzo’s head now as he is bossing Zamani all over the place.

Ntombi even warned Senzo yesterday that Kenneth has a hidden agenda for him thus the reason he is being so nice to him. Senzo shrugged Ntombi off and he insisted that he is still going to go to that function Kenneth told him to go to. Now the twist is that Kenneth has tipped someone off that Senzo is going to be at this function with his boyfriend! The press are going to have a field day and this is going to hurt and shock Senzo. All part of Kenneth’s master plan to bring Senzo and to a certain extent Sibusiso down.

On the other side we have Rathabile potentially getting a job offer from Dumisani’s friend. I wonder how Rathabile got this opportunity and I just hope Dumisani does not spoil it for Rathabile as he made it clear that he hates her to bits. But we all know that Rathabile will be leaving Our Soapie soon so this is how she is going to leave: she gets a job offer to Durban. I wonder what will happen to the other intern guy.

One of the fans sent us this email today and I thought I would share it with you and hear what you guys have to think about what they say:

Hi there,

I am a very loyal generations fan. I have been very patient with the “Senzo” character (person who portrays the character) and I am sorry to say that, that man cannot act to save his life – he is beginning to irritate me. He is making me skip some Generations episode because of his lack of acting skills. It is actually an insult to make him act besides the likes of Menzi Ngubane and Seputula who are brilliant in what they do. “Senzo “ does not change his facial expressions….his expressions are the same whether he is moaning Busi, excited about a job offer of flabbergasted about something..the facial expressions are the same – and why is he always wanting to laugh when he speaks?

Do something about “Senzo” and very fast…I have had a discussion of this at work over lunch several times and a lot of people share the same sentiment as me.

So Senzo rescued Sibusiso from the fire last night and Dlomo has decided to check into rehab and try get his life back on track. That is the first good sign, he has admitted that he has a problem and he is ready to fight against it. It was a bit emotional last night when Sibusiso was talking to Christina and telling her how much he loves her and how he wants to be a good dad to her. Big up to you Sbu, now I hope you can get your life back on track. You have a lovely family and do not throw it away.

But then the drama in last nights episode came right at the end when Senzo cam over to make sure that Sibusiso was really going to rehab and Senzo told him that the only reason he rescued Sibusiso from the fire was that he want Dlomo to be strong and got on his two feet again so that he (Senzo) can knock him down! Talk about a threat from a son to a father! The battle lines have been drawn now and it is clear that Senzo wants to bring his father down. And now that Senzo is on Mashaba’s side, I am sure he is going to use Kenneth to help him bring his father down.

This is Our Soapie after all and it is filled with drama and I can see a twist in all of this, this is what I think is going to happen:
Senzo is going to continue working at Mashaba Media and rise up the ladder there until he has a really good post and Kenneth will start to trust him more and more as Senzo will be telling Kenneth that he wants to bring Dlomo down. But meanwhile Senzo is going to be plotting to take over Mashaba Media and when he does take it over he is going to give it back to his dad (Sibusiso) and say “Dad, I got your company back for you because I love you.” And then Senzo and Sibusiso will live hapiily every after as father and son!

Many of you have said that last night episode of Generations was the best you have seen in a while! I have to admit that after the boring episodes we have seen over the last couple of weeks, last nights was not bad at all. We were all waiting to see what Sibusiso was going to do after he had seen Senzo and Jason in bed together getting it on.

Sibusiso just walked out of the room fuming and went to get his shambok! Senzo, Jason and Ntombi tried to reason with Dlomo but he was having none of it and he hit Senzo with the Shambok then Jason tried to be the hero and he tried to hold Sibusiso back but instead Sibusiso beat the living daylights out of Jason. Jason had to be taken to hospital after suffering from concussion.

Ntombi went over to visit Jason and Senzo in hospital and he told them that she would be by their side. That really meant a lot to Senzo. But I guess all he really wants is to get his dad back and for his dad to accept him. But I don’t see that happening anytime soon. Senzo went over to the house to try talk to his ‘dad’ but Dlomo was having none of it and he virtually shouted and disowned Senzo and said that he will never be his son again.

Sibusiso is hurting big time and so to is Senzo. Ntombi is trying to be supportive as it is very hard for her to pick sides. I wonder how all of this is going to end.. any thoughts?

The storm seems to have calmed down (for now) between Sibusiso and Zachariah. Sibusiso found some ‘dirt’ about Mr. Zondo and he used it to blackmail him into giving Senzo his blessing to change his name. I am not too sure what Dlomo found out about Zondo but it was something that ‘a man of God would not do’. I think Mr. Zondo had an affair in the past and Senzo nor his wife new about it. So Sibusiso was going to let the news slip out if Mr. Zondo did not agree for Senzo to have his name changed.

The secrets continue in this relationship. Now Senzo believes that Mr. Zondo gave him his blessings from the bottom of his heart, if only he knew what really happened. But as I always say, the truth will come out one day.

Now that is two huge secrets Sibusiso has kept from Senzo: the first was Senzo not knowing that he got the job at the radio station because of his dad and now the whole blackmail thing. Then again Senzo is keeping his own secret about him being game. What is it about secrets? Just tell the truth dammit!!

You have to love JB!!! As much as Our Soapie is rather boring these days, Uncle JB is keeping us laughing. Last night was THE dinner where the Zondo’s would try and make peace with Sibusiso. I knew it was going to be a bad night the moment I saw that Jabulani was going to be at the dinner.

The evening seemed to start off on a good note as Mrs. Zondo bought some trifle over for the dinner. But then JB had to open his big mouth and tell the Zondo’s that Sibusiso is a recovering alcoholic. From there on it just went pear-shaped and Zacharia and Sibusiso were at each others throats again as they started arguing. And how about Jabulani telling them that they should not talk about demons whiilst they are eating!
Senzo had enough of it and he stormed out. I feel sorry for Senzo, as he is being caught up in the middle of this and there is nothing he can do. All because of two idiots like Zacharia and Sibusiso who can not sit down and talk things out.

Whilst the tensions were high as Senzo stormed out and Zacharia and Sibusiso were left standing staring at each othe, JB broke the ice by asking for some more trifle!!!

Now we just have to wait and see how this whole story pans out.

So now the plot thickens. After all the ‘beef’ between Sibusiso and Mr. Zondo, Senzo is pissed off and he has decided he will not be changing his name to Dlomo. I think this whole situation was handled really badly from the beginning. Senzo should not have lied to his parents and he should have told them he has found his real father. Then again Sibusiso should not have put some much pressure on Senzo to get his parents down and break the news to them. I wonder how this is now all going to play out. And the funny thing is that both sets of ‘parents’ do not know that the son they are fighting over is gay!!

Then we have Dineo getting the job at New Horizons. This is where I see Our Soapie being terrible, one could easily tell with the way the storyline was going that Dineo was going to get the Gloss job. It was a bit too predictable. But I loved the look on Kenneth’s face when Dineo was telling Rugby that she got the job.

The plot thickens! I honestly did not expect Senzo to say what he did last night when he told his dad that he is joking that he is gay! A lot of us yesterday thought that Sibusiso was going to explode and go back to drinking after hearing that his son is gay.

But Senzo saw the look in his dads face when he told him he was gay and I guess he decided that its best not to rock the boat and rather tell his dad that he is not gay. Then to add onto that, Sibusiso was a relieved man to hear that his son ‘is not gay’ and decided that it is time for Senzo to officially become a Dlomo. Now when this ceremony happens, and Senzo is now a Dlomo, and with all the so called Dlomo pride, there is no way I can ever see Senzo telling his dad that he is gay.

Speaking of the ceremony, I did not particularly like the way Sibusiso treated Ntombi when he told her that she must changes the invites for Busi’s unveiling so that they include Senzo’s ceremony. What is it with the men on Our Soapie these days and not being able to treat their women? We have Dumisani on the one hand continually abusing Khethiwe and now Sibusiso bullying Ntombi.

We were all looking forward to last nights show so that we could see what was going to happen betwen Senzo and Sibusiso. Sibusiso went over the Senzo’s place and asked Jason to leave them alone so they could talk.

I like the way Sibusiso said he had been hearing some rumours. Then he asked Senzo if the rumours are true and if he is gay. For a second I though that Senzo was going to say “No I am not” but he came out with the truth and told his dad that he is gay. That’s where last nights episode ended so again, we look forward to tonight to see how Dlomo is going to react.

The truth is finally out! Last night Ajax went over to Sibusiso’s house to apologise to him about all that has happened between them in the past as Ajax wanted Dlomo to terminate his Mouthful contract. The apology session got ugly as Dlomo refused to release Ajax from his contract then Ajax lost it and started blaming Dlomo for leaving his gun lying around. Dlomo then attacked Ajax but Ntombi managed to stop her husband.

Sibusiso then told Ajax that he is glad he is not his father then Ajax let the cat out the bag and told Sibusiso that his son is gay!

Dlomo and Ntombi were visibly shocked by this news and thats where the episode ended. You could see that Ajax just said it by mistake and he probably wishes that he never said it. We all say something we do not mean to say out of anger but I am glad that the truth is out now. Now we will see what happens between Sibusiso and Senzo. Let the drama continue on Our Soapie!!

One of the highlights for me last night was the shares that Dineo Mashaba is selling to Sbusiso Dlomo, I do not really know why Dinny had to tell Karabo Moroka about the shares but she did anyway and now Karabo and Sbu are at battle again over what Karabo calls the Moroka shares. She recons they belong to her since she is a “Moroka” ( don’t ask me if I think that’s fair).

On the other hand what will Sbu do with the shares after getting them? I mean it’s not like Senzo is planning to have a big family, not even a small family it seems. I liked his day dreaming, “Dad, I’m gay” and Sbu laughs about it hahahahahaha in your dreams Senzo,, in your dreams chana. Sbu has already shown how much he hated those two gay guys at the restaurant, and I do not think he will take the news of his only son being gay very lightly.

As far as the wedding plans,, they are coming along just fine!

Sho, sho, sho I mean the brother can DANCE really!! It’s not surprising that he told his dad not to wait up for him, and Sbu has to learn to let Senzo go a bit. I mean he is not a baby anymore. Ntombi wanted some nice time with her husband, but all he could do was obsess over Senzo,,,,but I still say Senzo has the groove!
