Guys is it just me or has our soapie hit an all time low because come to think of it not much is happening and all that is happening is to just make the soapie continue.
In the Mawande household it’s the same talk about the upcoming feature which is just dragging on unnecessarily. Mj’s grounding as well is also the other main attractions and if you ask me that guy is acting too much like a little boy, it’s annoying.
Noluntu is as usual getting on being obnoxious and spoilt and thrashing those pregnant girls every chance she gets.
Nothing going on with Jason and Senzo except the bickering from Jabulani and the latest is that he has taken over Sibusiso’s office and car for fear that Jason is getting too big for his shoes.
Eish I don’t know about you guys but for me I just feel like it’s either they are seriously running out of ideas or a serious storyline is about to be unraveled.
Guess we just have to wait and see.
For now its tah tah from me

Category : Ntombi, The Show
Ok fine so after I got the rude awakening from Chucklegan the other day on how behind I am and how I need to get with the programme, I took it upon myself to move with the “times”.
Ntombi is definitely leaving no doubt about that but what I am wondering is how are they going to get her to leave seeing that all seems to be going well for her with Sibusiso and job wise.
Will she follow Samuel and Sharon? Well that will be a bit lame if you ask me. Maybe she will die.. mmmmmmmhhh I surely hope not, but maybe just maybe if she does go, Sbu and Mawande will pick up where they left off.
Guys this is me just wrecking my brain because I can’t for the life of me see any cracks here on how she can make a clean exit. Oh yes maybe she will find out about Sibusiso and Mawande and she will be so pissed she will run off to the States mmmm #sigh#.
Anyway whoever can shed more light or whoever thinks they know how this will unfold please enlighten us because I am kind of in the dark here.
Ciao

“Out with the old and in with the new” is exactly what seems to be happening on generations. All the hype is on the newbies(Mawande, Akhona, Noluntu)and well the magogos like Sharon and Samuel are being ushered out fast and will soon be singing Kumbaya somewhere in the heart of Mahlabatini.
Noluntu has practically taken over the soapie. Most of what is happening at the moment hovers around her. The sex tape, her mum losing the CEO position, Jason falling for her, Sibusiso has also been thrown into the mix, and now we hear she has been arrested, If you ask me this is way too much hype for one person but I guess we will see how it will all blow over, and for now I wonder just why she has been arrested. I surely hope she b@#$% slapped Swazi again lol.
Akhona also seems to have taken a big chunk on set with all the issues with Nicholas, her secret past life (which I hope will come to light) and yes the one we are all waiting for, her so called documentary mmmmmmmm#sigh#.
I guess I have to agree with Chucklegan who argued that its high time characters show growth and as such Samuel will probably take over his place in Mahlabathini instead of being the irresponsible boy who runs off. I am not sure how fair it is for Sharon’s character because as much as I am all about love, she also has a career that is going really great and I kinda feel it’s unfair that she is going to just give it all up.
Let’s make this more interactive so the more comments the more interesting it will get as we can unravel together. For now that’s it folks.

Category : Akhona, Khetiwe, Sibusiso, The Show
Morning bloggers please just for today allow me to vent a little bit about our beloved soapie and what is really frustrating me.
I hate the fact that Khetiwe seems to be getting her way left right and centre. Even after all the bad things she has done in the past it seems she is the one who is being rewarded and given a pat on her back while good people like Khapela are left wanting on the side lines. It really gets me wondering sometimes whether they are not losing the plot as far as good and bad are concerned because first she was the beaten down woman who managed to conquer by joining POWA and then she turned a new leaf and did really bad things and still I can’t help feeling as though Khapela is the one paying.
If I had my way she should be rotting in the mad house and Khapela should get the child up until she recovers and admits to the world what a bad person she really is.
The way things are going right now it seems as though now that she cornered Sibusiso into giving her a job, she will further alienate Khapela because now she can take care of the baby without much of his help.
Now she is practically forcing Akhona into interviewing some prisoner which if my guess is correct will expose Khapela for things he did in the past which for me is not fair.
We will wait to see how everything unfolds and though I love to hate some characters they make the show even more interesting, for now I will say ciao, catch me tomorrow and please give me your views so that we can dissect everything. You can follow me @makanaka and let’s chat.

I don’t know about you guys but Sharon’s sulking is starting to get to me. It’s been ages already and for someone who hasn’t been watching every day and they see her now and how she is going on about how her marriage is over you would swear Samuel had a full blown affair with Lulu. For me I would just say “get over it already” there are people with bigger fish to fry like Mawande and her daughter.
So now that we know that the stars of the sex CD turned out to be Mawande’s daughter and a certain David Lukhele the question that is on everyone’s mind is, “who sent the CD? How did they get it? And more importantly what do they want?”
Last night we saw how Mawande’s daughter was acting all tough in the beginning only to show that she is human after all when she cuddled with her mother and cried.
Khetiwe seems to be on the role and she is almost forcing Akhona to interviewing people for her documentary. What is interesting though is the fact that she has a contact who is currently in prison and has agreed to be interviewed by Akhona. Who is this person and how is he connected to Khapela? (Because the way the storyline seems to be going bra Khaps is going down).
As for Nicholas and Akhona’s budding relationship, I just wish that Nicholas will get used to the kind of person that Akhona is and stop getting surprised when she does the unexpected (I must point out though that his facial expressions are priceless).

Category : Recap, The Show
There is so many secrets that the characters have at the moment that I am getting headaches from trying to crack the codes to find out what really is going on. I know soapies are supposed to have some element of mystery and suspense but now it’s getting a bit over the top because everyone seems to have a secret:
Akhona has a secret, from what I gather she must have a child back home who her gran is looking after, how that story is going to unfold I suppose we just have to wait and see, but I hope Nicholas is prepared for what he is (unknowingly) getting himself in.
Ruby seems to have a grudge against Dineo’s father. What is it that he did to her that makes her so angry? I just hope that it will come out in the open one day but from the looks of things it’s a long time coming (sigh)
Khetiwe has so many scandalous stories I just don’t understand how she has managed to get away with it and get her job back while Khapela is left on the side lines (but I suppose that is a story for another day).
Khapela (Bra Khaps) as he is popularly known has always been portrayed as this caring man until he got involved with Khetiwe and now it seems there is more to him than meets the eye. He has some dark past that he “thinks” is well hidden in KZN but it seems that all hell will break loose and Akhona (Thanks to Khetiwe) will reveal him for who he really is, mmmmmm I wonder.
Nicholas’s father (Mr Nomvete) seems to know more about the real cause of the accident that took Nicholas’ mother’s life, could she have been carrying another man’s child? Well we just have to keep wondering don’t we?
Mawande and Sibusiso: I am sure we are all just about to give up on finding out what really went down with them back in the days. Mawande did mention that Sibusiso took off with his family’s money but that was about it. Then there is the issue with the spear that Ntombi framed I wonder what is the story with that but am hoping to find out soon enough.
Then we have the issue of Mawande and Caleb, what really is going on with that relationship no one knows. It seems as though he is globetrotting somewhere and she is the one doing the chasing around.
The one story that had my tongue wagging the whole weekend is the one concerning Mawande’s daughter and a David character we know nothing of. It seems as though whatever it is that they did got her fleeing from London and was hoping no one will find out BUT from the look on Mawande’s face when she was viewing the CD she received from a mysterious person (and the noises mmmmmmmm) it can’t be good, but then again it could be Caleb with some other woman yho and the plot thickens.
For now we just have to keep guessing as to what really is up with all these characters.
Keep watching folks and give me feedback as to what you think is actually going on.

Last night Khethiwe and Queen were sitting in the bar gossiping as always and then Khethiwe receives a drinks from the barman and she asks where it came from and the barman says a guy sitting at another table bought it for her. Queen told Khethiwe not to accept it and if she does the guys should also buy her a drink!
I have seen many guys at places like News Cafe telling the barmen to send a round of drinks to a table with just ladies. Most guys do this as a way of ‘breaking the ice’ in trying to impress a girl. I know a lot of girls will accept these drinks but then there are some who turn them away.
The best one I have seen is a guy who ordered a bottle of Moet for a table of girls, they accepted it, had it opened and each one only took one sip of their glass and then they just got up and left! Talk about a waste for the guy.
So ladies, my question to you is, “What would you do if a guy you do not know offers to buy you a drink?”
